Hi! I am a medical device designer and leader of innovation. I have a masters degree in biomedical engineering and have worked for over 5 years at a medical device startup making custom orthodontic appliances.
I am an inventor, and have an uncanny knack for finding very creative and feasible solutions to complex problems. I have a highly tuned intuition for a broad range of complex systems. I am very creative and effective at determining and navigating within constraints, such as design, mechanical, regulatory and quality.

I joined LightForce at the very early startup stage as a passionate engineer focusing on all aspects of medical device design. This included research, ideation, invention, design, development, regulatory and process. As my role evolved and I honed my skills I became the senior R&D engineer passionately leading innovation and advancing the frontier of medical device technology within the organization. I have a unique problem-solving style that I attribute to my dyslexia, something I consider a gift and not a weakness. I enjoy creating efficient, reliable, and feasible solutions to problems, and have automated and redesigned many of the workflows and technical processes in my previous roles. I am an enthusiastic, accomplished, and practical problem solver, with skills in market research, design, implementation, and prototyping.
